The vineyards are cultivated by us, a small group of winemakers from Bordeaux committed to organic farming, respectful of People and Earth. It's quite simple, actually: our wines are good, very approachable, and delicious!
Presentation
Terroir
A deep calcosol with a gravelly surface and rounded pebbles, underlain by a hard limestone layer about two meters deep. This structure warms quickly, promotes early ripening, and induces moderate water stress, leading to smaller berries rich in phenolics and anthocyanins, with thick, fragrant, and tannic skins.
In the vineyard
Reasoned pruning, disbudding, leaf thinning, and green harvesting. The tall canopy accelerates soil water use through evapotranspiration, ensuring an ideal leaf-to-fruit ratio for excellent concentration and extractability. Harvesting takes place at optimal maturity, slightly overripe, early in the morning to preserve the fruit’s freshness and full aromatic potential.
Ageing
Aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity of the fruit, aromatic freshness, and varietal expression.
Winemaking
Fermentation with indigenous yeasts, carried out at 24°C, with a 22-day maceration, allowing a gradual extraction of body, colour, and tannic structure, while preserving the expression of the fruit and the identity of the terroir.
