Presentation
The vineyards are cultivated by us, a small group of winemakers from Bordeaux committed to organic farming, respectful of People and the Earth. It's simple actually: our wines are good, very approachable and delicious!
Terroir
Deep clay soils throughout the profile, marked in summer by wide surface cracks. The vine develops roots along these deep fissures to reach the subsoil, which are later destroyed in winter when the clays swell and close the pores. This ongoing cycle of constraint and renewal maintains a balanced, moderate, and gradual water stress from veraison onward, promoting excellent oenological potential in the grapes.
In the vineyard
Reasoned pruning, disbudding, leaf thinning, and green harvesting. The tall canopy accelerates soil water consumption through evapotranspiration, maintaining an ideal leaf-to-fruit ratio that promotes excellent concentration and extractability. Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness — slightly overripe — early in the morning to preserve their fruit character and full expressive potential.
