COTE OCEAN, IGP Atlantique, Blanc, 2025

Presentation

Presentation
The Atlantique PGI covers red, rosé, and white wines produced along France’s Atlantic coast. An oceanic climate brings mild winters, sunny summers, and sea breezes that keep the vineyards fresh.
Terroir
A distinctly oceanic climate: the Atlantic Ocean brings mild winters and a refreshing feel in summer. Long, sunny summers allow the grapes to reach ideal ripeness, while sea breezes help maintain freshness in the vineyards. Deep clay-limestone soils, clay-dominant, whose structure encourages a gradual water supply and steady, even ripening.
Winemaking
Direct pressing using inerted presses, cold settling, then fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks at 18°C, with inerting throughout the process to preserve color and aromatic freshness and to enhance thiol aroma precursors.
Ageing
Ageing on fine lees in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks to build volume and complexity while retaining a vibrant, linear tension.
Varietal
Sauvignon blanc : 100%
